AIR-DARTS is a darts score counter and scoreboard app for steel-tip and electronic darts. It tracks your scores automatically when paired with a supported Bluetooth dartboard or an Autodarts camera system, and falls back to fast manual entry on any board. Ten game modes cover everything from classic 501/301/701 to Cricket, Around the Clock and training drills, with AI opponents, live statistics, heatmaps, and an online multiplayer beta. It is the all-in-one companion for practice, casual games, and competition — handling the math so you can focus on your throws.
Also known as: Dart Score Counter, Darts Scoreboard, Darts Scorer, Dart Counter, Dart Zähler / Darts Zähler (German), Compteur de Fléchettes (French)

How to play
- In X01 (501/301/701) each player starts at the chosen number and subtracts the value of each dart thrown. The goal is to reach exactly zero, and the final dart must land on a double (a "double-out" finish). The app shows checkout charts to suggest finishing combinations.
- In Cricket the targets are 15 through 20 plus the bullseye. You "close" a number by hitting it three times (singles, doubles and triples count toward the three marks); once you have closed a number and your opponent has not, further hits on it score points. Close all targets and lead on points to win.
- Other modes (Around the World/Clock, Half It, Shanghai, Medley, Horse Race, Three Darts, T/D Practice) each apply their own target sequence or elimination/round rule — pick a mode and the app explains and enforces its rules and tracks the score for you.
- Bluetooth dartboard: Pair a supported BLE board; it auto-connects and reports each hit automatically.
- Autodarts camera (WiFi): The app connects to the Autodarts system over WebSocket and reads detected darts (including their board coordinates) in real time.
- Manual entry: Tap the on-screen dartboard to record each throw — works with any board, including standard steel dartboards without electronics.
- Bluetooth boards auto-connect when in range; the app scans and pairs the BLE dartboard, then detects scores automatically. Supported models are listed in the app's help screen and the store description.
- For Autodarts, the app uses a WebSocket connection to the camera system over WiFi; once connected it tracks darts and can render a 2D board and heatmaps.
- If no hardware is available, switch to manual entry — every game mode supports it.
Frequently asked questions
Which dartboards are supported?
The store description lists Smartness® Turbo Charger 4.0 & Arcadia 4.0, GranBoard 132 Smartboard, Dartona Smart Dartboard (SDB), the Autodarts steeldart camera system (WiFi), and the Dart4Free Controller. The app supports Bluetooth (BLE) dartboards generally with auto-connect, and more boards are added regularly.
Does it work with Autodarts?
Yes. AIR-DARTS connects to the Autodarts steeldart camera system over WiFi (WebSocket) and reads detected darts in real time, including dart coordinates. In X01 it can show a 2D dartboard and a heatmap based on the camera data.
Can I score manually without any electronic board?
Yes. Manual entry via the on-screen dartboard works for every game mode, so you can use AIR-DARTS as a pure scoreboard with a standard steel dartboard.
What game modes are included?
Ten modes: X01 (301/501/701), Cricket, Around the World, Around the Clock, Half It, Shanghai, Medley, T/D (Triple/Double) Practice, Horse Race, and Three Darts. Rules and variants are customizable.
Can I play against the computer or friends?
Yes. Each mode has AI opponents with Weak / Medium / Strong difficulty for solo play, plus local multiplayer, and an online multiplayer mode (beta) with friends and challenges.
Does it track statistics and history?
Yes. It keeps per-game statistics, historical averages, player ratings, score history and highscores in a personal profile, plus heatmaps for every game mode and worldwide leaderboards.
