How to play

1. Goal: Be the first player to get rid of all your cards. Online tables are played by 4 players with a standard deck (plus 2 jokers).
2. Card ranking. From low to high: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, 2 — the 2 is the highest card by default in this app. Jokers are wild.
3. Leading. The player in the lead plays a single card, a pair, a triple, or four-of-a-kind. Everyone after must play the same number of cards.
4. Following. You must beat the previous play with cards of equal or higher value (the app allows playing equal value), or pass. Once you pass, you're out until the pile is cleared.
5. Clearing the pile. When everyone passes, the pile is cleared and the last player who played starts the next pile.
6. Going out & ranks. The first to empty their hand becomes the President (rank 1), then Vice-President (2), Citizen (3), and the last player left is the Scum (rank 4).
7. The card swap (the social heart of the game). Before the next round: the Scum gives the President their 2 highest cards and gets the President's 2 lowest back; the third place and Vice-President swap 1 card the same way (loser's best for winner's worst). This is why being President is a huge advantage — and being Scum hurts.
8. Jokers. Jokers are wild cards — use them to complete a pair or triple, or play one alone as the highest card.
9. Revolution. Playing four of a kind triggers a "revolution" that reverses the card order.
10. Rounds are scored and the match runs to a points/round limit; placing higher each round earns more.
